Since we are coming up on the year change I thought I'd post what aircraft changes to expect. The Withdrawn aircaft will be de-listed from the purchase page. You will not loose these aicraft if you own any, it just means you can buy any.

Withdrawn from service:
  • BAC 111-400
  • TU-134A
  • DHC-6-100
Coming into service:
  • Boeing 767-300

I haven't got one up, simply because all the data is not in the game yet. I have the game ready up as far as about 1988/89 and thats it. Some aircraft (Such as Airbus/Boeing) are there up to the present day, but the A380/744/777 are not in the game yet.

I love the wider array of manufacturers available here.

There are a few notables missing though.

Saab, Shorts, Dornier(Fairchild), Ilyushin

Cessna wont get many, I am not having 2 seaters in the game, I dont want Business jets either as they have totally different economics/markets than the general "bums on seats" airline business.

I want more Russian planes so dont worry about those.  :P

Other than the Yukon/CL-44  the notable A/C from Canadair should appear as Bombadier.

What about the Caravan, Grand Caravan, 401, 404, 410, 411?  They all carry as many or more than the B-N Islander.

What aircraft are availible right now? Could we have a system where the aircraft are shown under their respective manufacturers, but you cannot buy them if they are no longer made, or have not yet been produced?

That could be possible, very like Clear Skies 2 though. I'll have a look into it. The problem is that it uses a lot more resources in the database and slows the laoding time of the pages even more.
