General Chat / Colors in the airline name?
« on: August 30, 2008, 05:50:25 pm »
Hi, I was looking through the rankings just now, and I realized that 2 airlines had their airline's name colored in. Was this done for a specific reason (like being a mod), if not how was this done?

Should state that this was in World 9.

Bugs / Fleet Quanity Bug still not gone
« on: August 12, 2008, 01:42:46 am »
A few days ago I posted a post in the Fleet Quantity bug thread that it wasn't fixed, I'm not sure if any of the admins looked at it, but since I was given no response and the bug is still around, I thought I make a new post for it.

Essentially what is happening is the following;
I have five fleets, one for each of my 5 hubs and then a 6th one for aircraft that I am selling or leasing out. The one for leasing/selling is showing up at 0, while I do have 2 aircraft in it right now. I have tried to reassign them, then put them back in the fleet, it still shows up at "0" in the view/buy screen.

The date source is a bit unclear on the delivery dates, but this source lists them both as December 15, 1982:

Does anyone know how to find the fuel burn as well as the price and turn time?

General Chat / Is AM running very slowly for anyone else?
« on: February 07, 2008, 08:20:08 pm »
Hey guys, I logged into AM and for some reason, it started to run super slow, and I mean way slower than it usually is when I'm at home (with dial-up). When I try to adjust routes, I end up getting a "IE cannot display page" page or whatever it is. Is anyone else going through this?

General Chat / Are new plane prices variable?
« on: January 28, 2008, 02:09:41 am »
Hey guys, I was looking at aircraft prices recently, and I stumbled upon what appears to be the new price for the 737-200 BBJ.  The last time I ordered a new BBJ, I recall that the price was €13,672,611, now it's at 15 mil. What caused the price increase? Was it the demand for the plane, or was there something that cause the coders to correct it?

General Chat / Leasing out the out of production planes
« on: November 11, 2007, 06:26:48 am »
Hi, I was talking to another airline earlier, and I considered leasing out a plane to him. But something occured to me, even though I offered to lease out a plane to him that will be in production for the whole round, what would happen if there was a plane that was out of production, such as the Bach Air Yacht or Bellancia Aircruiser? I know that the rule is no less 5% of the ORIGINAL value of hte plane, but since a plane (like the Air Yacht or Aircruiser) is currently out of produciton, you can't easly find hte original value of the plane. So would a airline have to do if they wanted to lease it out? Make it no less than 5% of the current value? I'm just a bit confused, that is all.

« on: October 28, 2007, 08:00:23 pm »
Does anyone know why I have a 403 Error when I try to get on the sim's site? Each time I try, I get it, which I don't understand why.

Bugs / LF script bug? Idk.
« on: October 26, 2007, 07:32:50 pm »
Hey,
When I just logged in, I noticed that one airline had gotten on the same routes that I did, only thing was that he operated a slightly larger plane than me on two routes, he was flying .5s between the airports and charged a much higher price than I did, but yet, it caused me to lose some (but not a large amount) of my LF. Is this some kind of bug? Or is there a more logical reason for this?

~EDIT~
I should add that I was flying frequencies higher than .5s, I reset the prices and I'm back up to 100% on those routes. But I still found it strange that a airline flying a .5 with a HIGHER price will still make a small dent in the DOP and LF of airlines that charge lower with more freqencies.
