Newcastle Airport (NTL/YWLM) location

Hello,

noticed on the route maps that Newcastle Airport/RAAF Williamtown (NTL/YWLM)had undergone a major geographical shift. Lat/Long for the airport is 32.48S 151.50E. I'm guessing you pass this to Google maps etc, my apologies for wasting time if you don't.

Hi,

Not quite grasping what the issue is here.

As far as I can see, the coordinates in the database is correct. The airport is showing up correctly in GCM and Google Maps as well.

Please elaborate.

The route map generated shows all lines originating at Summer Hill. Summer Hill is about 60km North West of Newcastle Airport/RAAF Williamtown. I think that the problem is that the lat/long we've agreed on are actually expressed as a decimal, they're in a degrees.minutes notation. The actual coords are:-

 32°48'15.14"S (30.80°S)
151°50'23.82"E (151.83°E)

If this is too trivial to worry about let me know.

hmmm.... frankly this kind of corrections is pretty trivial. However, we do try to make everything perfect, so if you spot other issues with google maps version of the map, do let us know.

As for the GCM version, there is nothing we could do about that.
