What is the best plane type out there that you like [even if it's retired :wink: ]

Has to be the Boeing 757-200. I've only ever had the pleasure once and that was PHL-DUB on US Airways. Perfect plane.  8)

Although nothing beats the A330 for its grace and beauty.

It depends.....


Differing planes have differing missions....


I would love to see a 752 or a A330 make a landing on a 1800 ft gravel/dirt runway in Alaska.
Perfect plane there is a Twotter....

From SNA, to ORD or DEN its a 752
Short runway, NIMBY restrictions...Need LOTS of thrust quickly.

The perfect plane is one that fits the profile of that particular mission, without having too many restrictions.  Sometimes there isn't one.
