The three emergency escapes actually put me off a bit, but for an aircraft that did not have round windows in previous versions, the Comet really stands out :lol:

"CCCP" is the Soviet registration, but I have never seen anything like it.

Can hardly believe it flies. Are those floaters of sorts it has on the bottom? or are they massive fuel tanks?

The Russians are incredible when it comes to aeronautics. They created the world's largest aircraft long before the jet engine came along, and continued to design gigantic aircraft. Their problem (I think) is that they focus more on military aircraft rather than civilian ones, making their airliners less efficient compared to American and European, while having some of the world's best fighters. Also, their aircraft are usually very ugly :/
